Geocache Description:

My first Bridgeport cache and the easiest one I've placed.

My parents moved to West Virginia in the early 60s and this was their first house. It’s a very old house that has been recently remodeled. We did some of the work on it. It’s also the first house I remember living in. I lived there to age 5. Bridgeport was a lot different in those days. We had a mini-farm going right on Main Street. We had a garden, chickens, ducks, and pigeons in the shed.
It’s a business now and they’ve given permission to place a cache there. Please show respect. Do not do this cache at night. The building was recently broken into. Don’t use their parking lot during business hours. Park on Davis Street on the service station side, it’s only 100' or so to the cache. There is another parking lot very close to the cache that is used by several buisnesses and is marked private. It would be best to stay off it especially during buisness hours. The best time to do this cache would be on the weekend or after 5:00 pm when the businesses are closed.
