Yorkshire Bumps (aka Switchbacks) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Dalesman: As there's been no cache to find for a long time, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

a cache-related image

If approaching from the north, make sure you walk an extra few metres south so you do not miss "The Yorkshire Bumps" (also known as The Switchbacks). An interesting feature - fun for kids and grown-ups alike. The views from the cache site are not half bad.
Don't miss the stepping stones a few metres north of the cache site.

We have placed this cache in memory of our first ever cache find ('Got The Hump' GC76B8), also near this location, now sadly lost.

This cache is NOT in the dry stone wall, so do not disturb any stones. Be careful not to scratch your arm retrieving the cache.
