Geocache Description:

This is our 1st hide in the soon to be Time-Life Classic Rock Series. Enjoy the hunt, then go enjoy the best bakery in town.

In 1968 The Beatles owned the music world. Unfortunately for the Beatles, nobody had forseen the inevitable Rock-splosion of a simply named band called....BREAD.
Bread's first single, "Dismal Day", was released in June 1969 but did not chart. But follow-on songs like... "On The Waters", "Make It With You", "It Don't Matter to Me", "Everything I Own", "Sweet Surrender", & "The Guitar Man" forever secured the bands place in Rock-topia.

The band consisted of David Gates (vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards, violin, viola, percussion), Jimmy Griffin (vocals, guitar, keyboards, percussion), Robb Royer (bass, guitar, flute, keyboards, percussion, recorder, backing vocals), Mike Botts (drums; joined in 1970), and Larry Knechtel (bass, guitar, keyboards, harmonica; replaced Royer in 1971).

Oh, yeah and by the way, the canister is a small plastic cylinder.
