Geocache Description:

The approach from the village of Croesor up the south ridge is quite exciting and needs care at the top. Cnicht is also known has " The Matterhorn of Wales "

This is a Mountain cache and requires good skills of the Hills. It is a 35mm film container with a log only, you will need a pen, pencil to record your visit. We had a great day out in fine weather with views of Snowdon and other major ranges. After putting in the cache, we continued to complete the Cnicht Horseshoe - well worth the effort - it will take you around 4 hours to do. Enjoy the ridge, horseshoe and the cache.
