Geocache Description:

A steep climb but can be done if you're reasonably fit and not afraid of heights.

Inwood Hill Park is a quiet retreat in Manhattan, with some unique glacial geological formations including potholes and “Indian” caves, which are natural rock overhangs once used as shelter by Native Americans.

The cache is up the side of the hill by the rock shelters. It is not reachable from above, especially in the summer when the eagle nesting area is fenced and off limits. It's higher than you probably think. Younger and shorter cachers will have an easier time.
