This is a short walk from the village of Preston Crowmarsh near Benson in South Oxfordshire where you will find space for a few cars at the start of the Thames path. Alternatively you may wish to walk along the Thames Path from Wallingford having taken the opportunity to visit Castle Meadows – Stag Beetle Hotel and Thames Path – Castle Meadows caches.
The cache is a 35mm film container with a Geopin for the FTF and is located close to Benson lock which can get fairly busy so a degree of stealth may be required. The cache is suitable for children but care should be taken due to the fast moving and deep water. Please ensure that cache is located as you found it.
