Geocache Description:

Take the easy level North Trail from the main parking lot. Look for the stately tree just a short distance W of the trail.

New to geo-caching, we were surprised to find none at one of our favorite day-hike sites, New River. Since we have been enjoying the many caches others have left in our homoe range, we decided to place a few to encourage others plus share this special site.

In the poptop container, you will find a model car, a red candle, a bracelet kit, an "@" sign bookmark (REALLY cool), a bit of art glass, a bottle opener/keyring and a compact tape measure.
