Cache is located on The Peak to Prosperity Rail Trail.
The Peak to Prosperity Rail Trail traverses a portion of the former Norfolk Southern rail line that runs between the Broad River and Prosperity. A portion of the Palmetto Trail, which is South Carolina's 425 mile mountains to the Sea path, now runs over this rail line. Cache is approximately a tenth of a mile hike from the Hope Station Road side of the trail in Peak, S.C. There is a gate, but it is used to keep out motorized vehicles. You can still walk the trail around the gate. The trail is approximately 6 miles long. The trail head is located in Pomaria, S.C. and ends at Hope Station Road in Peak. Very nice walk to take family or pets.
