Fort Tuthill County Park is located just south of Flagstaff off
Interstate 17 (Exit 337). It’s where the Coconino county fair is
held. What: An opportunity to meet and mingle with fellow
Geocachers. Swap stories and cache ideas, and participate in GPS
activities. What’s there to eat? Provided: Hamburgers and Hotdogs
Please bring: Your own beverages and a side dish or dessert to
share and any preferred meats/items to grill. (A hot grill will be
provided).
What’s there to do? Get to relax among the cool pines and meet
fellow Geocachers and put faces to all the names.
A poker run multi-cache, Cacher with the best hand wins a
stocked ammo can! Please bring some swag to donate to the
cache.
TB exchange: Bring your Travel Bugs & trackable coins to
exchange . I'd rather we didn't just throw them on a table and
leave them, would like to see them exchanged by hand so print out
the goal sheet if possible and we will organize some kind of fun
way to distribute them.
New to the game or just curious about Geocaching? You're more
than welcome to join us! We would be happy to show you the
ropes!
Picnic Schedule
10:00 AM; Information Table will be set up with instructions for
the days activities.
Noon; Potluck Lunch is served.
4:00 PM; Group Photo-OP, TB exchange and the awarding of the ammo
can.
Camping: Ft Tuthill Park has a camp ground. No electricity but
there is water and sewer hookups for RV's.
Logistically it would be best if any Cachers who would like to
camp make their own reservations with the campground host. The
campground telephone number is (928)774-3464
