Geocache Description:


This Spring 2007, I have been riding my bicycle from the Easton soccer fields to Galena on the Alum Creek Bike Path and the Genoa Trail with some connectors in Westerville. One of my favorite sections is the Genoa Trail between Lewis Center and Plumb Rds. In this part of the bike path, the trees seem to shade the path, the woods on both sides are quiet and scenic, and the moss and grass on the trail edges are a deeper green.

So, I have placed a cache as an incentive to get you out to enjoy my favorite section. The nearest legal parking is at McNamara Park in the Genoa Township Fire and Police complex which is 1.3 miles south of the cache location. That will make for a nice walk or an easy bike ride on the paved trail. I hope you find the cache hunt worth the effort.

The cache is a small camoed container with a log book, pen, and some assorted trade items. Please rehide the cache well to prevent it's loss to muggles.
