Bear_Left: Sad to have to let this one die, but it's had a good innings and the GZ area has been opened up too much to allow replacement.

I do wonder what the people cutting back the tree that used to cover the GZ area thought of the white concrete fake rock! Not much, apparently, as they obviously removed it...

BWV 440 Auf! Auf! Die rechte Zeit ist hier

Loosely translates to "Out! Out! This is the right time"

Geocache Description:

Johann Sebastian Bach was undoubtedly the greatest Baroque composer and one of the greatest of any age. Papa Bach and Papa Bear_Left share a first name, and Mama Bear_Left and Herr Bach share a birthday! And both the Bears love his music.

Scientist and author Lewis Thomas once suggested how the people of Earth should communicate with the universe: "I would vote for Bach, all of Bach, streamed out into space, over and over again. We would be bragging of course, but it is surely excusable to put the best possible face on at the beginning of such an acquaintance. We can tell the harder truths later."

If you're not familiar with Bach's music, here's a few tiny snippets to whet your appetite, and also to help you find this cache!

Papa Bear_Left's only sung this in English (in public, anyway,) but the translation bears little resemblance to the orignal German!
ABC

Hearing this on the Sydney Town Hall's magnificent pipe organ was a real experience!
DEF

This is such a beautiful piece of music, it brings a lump to PBL's throat every time.
GHIJ

Mama Bear_Left once used this as part of her regular "morning music" and as a ringtone, and it almost got overexposed. Almost...
KLMN

Other things he wrote that aren't especial favourites, but just seemed to work for this cache:

OPQR — Herzliebster Jesu, was hast du verbrochen

STU - Meine Seele, lass es gehen

The cache is at S JT° PA.MRQ E OKD° BE.UNI

Because this is quite a public spot, the cache container is heavily camouflaged. And when we say heavily, we mean heavy as in concrete!

So please, even more than usual, only access this cache if you're sure that you're not being observed! If it gets muggled, we probably won't replace it and that's a lot of work to waste for a moment's carelessness.
The plastic container is held in magnetically, so it won't fall out when you lift the 'rock' to grab it.

It's between two other rocks.
