Fangorn Forest is home to the Ents. Once a vast forest, Fangorn is the remnant forest, the rest being destroyed by the Numenoreans and Sauron. Treebeard, the oldest remaining Ent, wasn’t sighted when the cache was placed but that doesn’t mean he isn’t here.
Sat lock is appalling in this thick forest. When you approach the cache, you should find yourself near a linear clearing within the forest. There is a permanent orienteering post in the middle of this clearing. At one end, there is gorse. Head towards the gorse and then look at the base of the gorse to the left of the clearing.
