Geocache Description:

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Easy parking available. Park closes at sunset. Cache is in the park but well off the trail. Approach from trail, not field. Area has a lot of poisonous plants but has been recently sprayed.

Welcome to the Bushy Tail Series. Most of these caches are located in the Kemet Wildlife Enhancement Area on Kemet Way. In 1998, Boy Scout Troop 159 of Simpsonville staged triple Eagle Scout projects here. They developed a nature trail, placed tree identification plaques along the trail and set up bird houses throughout.

Over the last few years the area has gotten pretty ragged and in need of some attention and visitors. We are attempting to bring it back to life. What better way than to invite geocaching into the area. With the CITO program and the general community spirit found among geocachers, the park should regain its vitality.

There are six Bushy Tail caches plus a Bonus . There is a bonus number on each log. Use these to find the coordinates for the Bonus Cache located elsewhere. Please return cache to its original position. No SL no :P.

Some advice from the “Squirrels”, “Run around in the woods and have fun!”
