Geocache Description:


Come on a crazy pipe hunt in the Shuford Wildlife Sanctuary. Here you can enjoy the sound of a stream, rest awhile, release tension, and marvel at the diverse plant life, including many downed pine trees. Most of these were knocked down in the March Blizzard of '93. Please be sure to BRING A BOTTLE OF WATER, as this is a moderate hike of 30-45 minutes.

There are 3 stages and a fairly large camouflaged container for the cache. Lots of goodies, in there. The GPS was doing pretty good, especially considering the tree cover. Sorry, but no clues on what to do with the pipes once you've found them. Please use your brains, not your muscle. You need to remove the cap on the first one, after that, no pulling, prying, kicking or biting, please.

There is another cache on this trail system if you have not done that one yet.
