This cache is the first in a series that I've placed along the historic Kettle Valley Railway.
This one is located just uphill a little from the former site of Myra station. Myra Station was named for Myra Newman, the daughter of a K.V.R. engineer. On your way to the cache you'll probably notice old tin cans and other metal left over from the now abandoned railway station.
The cache location provides an awesome panoramic view of Kelowna, Okanagan Lake, and the surrounding hills and mountains.
Recommended parking is at the cattleguard where the K.V.R. rail bed intersects Myra Forest Service Road.There's not really a trail from here to the cache, but the Okanagan Mountain Park wildfire of 2003 pretty much eliminated the need to bushwack to this spot.
