Geocache Description:

Cache is located close to the road and there is room to park off the road.

Cache is a magnetic micro and contains a log sheet and pencil.

It is located near the Charlottetown RCMP Detachment - it is off the RCMP property.

The RCMP's motto is Maintiens le droit, which is French for "Uphold the law"

There are approximately 125 RCMP members in Prince Edward Island and Detachments are located in Alberton, North Bedeque (near Summerside), Charlottetown, Montague, and Souris. A detachment is staffed in Cavendish during the summer months to address the influx of tourists to that area. The headquarters of the RCMP in PEI is located on University Avenue in Charlottetown.

The communities of Borden - Carleton, Kensington, Summerside, and Charlottetown all have their own municipal police forces.
