Geocache Description:

A Pink Floyd series cache!

You have made it to The Wall cache, and one of the best-known Pink Floyd albums of all time.


People from many different generations, backgrounds and even musical tastes know some of the music from The Wall.

The idea of writing this "rock opera" was Roger Waters' idea and he took it very much to heart. Most, if not all, of the songs were written by Waters and the other members of the band felt as though they were not being aloud to contribute their ideas and talents into the music. It wasn't that the rest of the band couldn't write, it was simply that Waters had taken more of a "dictorial" role as the band's leader.

Nothing was done without Waters' approval. Instead of the members of the band making decisions, it was simply Roger Waters that had the final say in all decisions. This became the largest problem that the band had to face, since the departure of Syd Barrett.

As the success of The Wall continued to grow, so did the anamosity of the other members of the band to Waters. Something had to give or the band was going to reach a breaking point.
The above coords will take you to a simple 35MM container, that will give you another set of coords to the final container. Your final container is a small plastic container with a PINK lid. There is a log file, a pencil, geocaching instructions for newbies, and room for small trade items.
