Visit the wreckage of a plane within reach of the Springs
This cache was placed at the site of a plane wreck that happen many years ago.
There are a few possible approaches to get to this. When Kris and I placed this cache we referenced the Pikes Peak Atlas map to find the location (highly recommended).
There is a trail right up to the cache, no off trail hiking needed. We found a large wing to North of the cache location, I recommend you explore the site.
The terrain rating of 4.5 is for distance and elevation gain.
This is a great area well worth the time to find it.
