To reach the cache location from stage 5 there is a choice of path routes .
One route is mainly along a gravel tracks, and one mostly along a smaller waymarked path that can be muddy in places. The latter route shows another aspect to the scenery.
To reach the cache location from stage 6 there is a choice of path routes . One route is mainly along a gravel tracks, and one is along a smaller path that can be muddy in places. The latter route shows another aspect to the scenery.

For the mainly gravel track option return to stage 5 then initially follow the gravel track Westwards for most of the way.
The other route option is along a small, undulating dirt path that starts near the South West side of the gateway. This route can be muddy in places, but it is our preferred route because it gives a change of scenery boarding the wet woodland belt of deciduous trees.

To return to the car park from the cache return to the gravel track ,or go to gravel track, and either climb up a steep path up to a seat and then head to the car park ,or continue along the gravel that leads past the forestry buildings and out to the road.

update June 2019. The cache is a .9 Ltr plastic Clip and lock container marked Geo-cache,with a smaller clip lock inside because water keeps gettting in.
When replacing cache please ensure the container is completely covered with bark pieces .Please return cache towards the left hand end of the hint.

If you need to contact us please use email which we regulary check and not the new message thingy which we find difficult to use and rarely check (added November 2016)
