Knagur Green: Due to no response from the CO after the request to maintain or replace the cache, I am archiving it to, stop it showing on the listings and/or to create place for the geocaching community.

The Geocache Maintenance guideline explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival. This is explained in the Help Center

Geocache Description:


In the sport of Orienteering, the waypoints are not provided in co-ordinate format – instead the Orienteer has to rely on recognising features in the terrain. This cache is one of a series, in which I will introduce various Orienteering type features, that I hope will attract you to come and try the sport. The location of this cache is on a "Cairn" or neatly stacked pile of rocks, a feature occasionally used in Orienteering as a checkpoint. You will find the cache on the North side.

Just a couple of kilometres up the road you will find my favourite cache, Minaars Luck (GC11CCY)- which I urge you to visit, while in the area. It's well worth it !.
