Situated in a part of Havent that people may not necessarily find
unless they were looking, this is an interesting historical
location. This cache can be easily combined with the Havant
Heritage Trail for an interesting tour of Havant and also
therefore with the nearby
A Tail Around Havant cache (GC129MG), which also makes use of
this interesting trail.
If you are feeling peckish, there is the nearby "La Bonne
Bagette" cafe/tearoom, which is itself, a point on the heritage
trail!
This cache is a 35mm film canister (now a nano as of
30/8/2010) now a small micro screw top container so please
bring your own writing implement!
Please be careful when retrieving and replacing this cache, due
to the surrounding environment and the proximity of nearby
residences & ensure the cache is covered from view when you
leave.
Cache replaced on 20/2/2011 with a small micro/large nano
container, hopefully better camouflaged this time!
Please leave the cache in-situ when retrieving and just
unscrew it to extract the log.
