The station at Otterton was opened on 15.5.1897 and was initially called Budleigh. It was re-named East Budleigh on 27.4.1898. It was closed on 6.3.1967. The station building is still in existence as a private dwelling.
The cache is in a fork of an ivy covered, multi trunked tree at about waist height. Please recover well and replace the stone on top of the cache.
Parking is available along the roadside in Otterton - BE CAREFUL ALONG THE BUSY ROAD.
