Lannejoen varrella sijaitsevan Hernesalmen myllyn läheisyydessä
on hienoa maisemaa sekä luonnonsuojelualue. Myös Tarmo Mannin
muistopatsas löytyy alueelta. Se on iso kivi, jossa kesäisin
juoksee vesi. Sen nimi on Itkevä kivi ja on Kain Tapperin teos.
Myllyssä on myös kahvila, joka on silloin tällöin auki
kesäisin.
Kätkön talvilöydettävyydestä: kätkö löytynee talvellakin, jos
lunta ei ole erityisen paljon. Jos todella haluaa löytää kätkön,
niin varmasti hieman kaivelemalla sen löytään vihjeen avulla
runsaslumiseenkin aikaan.
The area around Hernesalmi mill along the river Lannejoki offers
beautiful landscape and a nature reserve. Tarmo Manni's
monument is also located in the area. The monument is a large piece
of rock, with running water in the summer time. It has been carved
by Kain Tapper and is
called Itkevä kivi (crying stone in English). There is also a café
in the mill, open irregularly in the summer time.
About winter availability: the cache should be easy to find if
there is a reasonable cover of snow. Should you really like to find
the cache, it is probably findable even in a deep snow cover, if
you use the hint and you are prepared to clear a bit of snow.
