This is one in a series of cemetery caches located throughout Cleburne County. It is a film can and contains only a log. Please remember to bring your own writing instrument. ***As of 3/10/08 the container is now a pill bottle*** Cleburne County Cemetery Cache. There are numerous cemeteries in Cleburne County, from the very large to the very small with only a few residents. This series will take you all around the county highlighting these areas. I hope you enjoy visiting these cemeteries and please be respectful to the residents. When Greers Ferry Lake was going to be put in place several cemeteries would be underneath so the residents were moved to various cemeteries at higher elevations. This cemetery contains some of the residents from: Higden, Lower Barrens, Turney, Old Eglantine, and Treadway cemeteries.
