Geocache Description:

Another cache in the hunt for The Last Pioneer. This is a small ammo can with plenty of room for trade items. Permission was given to hide the cache on this property. Please be respectful of the livestock.

In the hunt for The Last Pioneer I hope to send you to prairie relics that epitomize life on the plains and the beauty of our history.

It sits on the hilltop watching the cows below. From here nothing escapes it’s eagle eye. In the day there was always work to do. Now it sits in silent splendor. Useful no more.

If you bring the kids, please be watchful of them near the cacti. They sure can hurt your feet. Plenty of organic landmines around to steer clear of too.

The cache log includes a piece of the coordinates needed to find The Last. Write them down and when you have visited all 4 in the "Pioneer" series, you will have the location of the final cache. You can log your visit of THIS cache without finding the final one. That is an independent cache.
