Il parco è aperto tutti i giorni e chiude un’ora
rima del tramonto. Dal 1963, anno della sua istituzione, il parco
rappresenta una validissima oasi di relax per coloro che desiderano
trascorrere qualche ora in tranquillità, al fresco della pineta e
in compagnia dei suoi simpatici abitanti a due o quattro zampe.
Ricordiamo con piacere che il Sommo poeta Dante lo definiva "
divina foresta spessa e viva". Il parco è aperto tutti i giorni, e
vi crescono, oltre ai pini marittimi che sono la pianta
caratteristica della zona, anche fiori di biancospino, ginepro,
caprifoglio, rovi di more, olivelle e piccole orchidee. Ma
l'attrattiva maggiore è senz'altro rappresentata dalla varietà di
specie animali che lo popolano, dai cervi ai caprioli, ai daini,
alle caprette, ai pony, lepri, pavoni, cigni, asinelli....e uccelli
che vivono e nidificano liberamente. E' anche possibile dar loro da
mangiare, dato che sono molto golosi e accettano di buon grado pane
e altro, che prendono direttamente dalle mani degli offerenti
visitatori.

The park is open every day and it closes an hour before sunset.
Since 1963, the year of its institution, the park represents a very
valid oasis of relax for those who wish to pass some hours in
tranquillity, on fresh air of the pinewood and in company of its
cute inhabitants of two or of four legs. We remember with pleasure
that the supreme poet Dante defined it as a "divine forest thick-
set and alive". The park is open every day, and there grow, near
the marine pines that are the characteristic plant of this region,
also thorn trees, juniper, honeysuckle, blackberries, wild olives
and small orchids. But the greatest attraction is certainly
represented by the variety of animal species that live it in, from
red deers to roe deers, to wild deers, to goats, to ponies, hares,
peacocks, swans, donkeys... and birds that live and nest there
freely. It is also possible to feed them, because they are very
greedy and they accept without problems bread or something else,
taking it directly from the hands of the offering visitors.
