River Rocks: The Real Giant Stairs Traditional Cache

briansnat: I placed this in 2007 on a whim, with the intent of coming back with a proper container, but never did. That tells me it's out of my maintenance zone it's time to archive. Thanks so much to the group of cachers who came through today and pulled this for me.

Note this is PIPC managed land and not NJ DEP managed property so feel free to place a cache nearby without the burdensome NJ caching policies to deal with. It's a very cool spot.

Geocache Description:

A challenging hike along the Shore Trail to nice view of the river. I was sitting on the rocks here enjoying the view, sipping tea and waiting for the rest of my party to catch up and I thought it odd that a great spot like this didn't have a cache, so I put one together with a few things I found in my pack.

This can be combined with the Giants Stairs and Alpine Ski Trail caches for a nice loop hike. This cache is located along the actual Giant Stairs, which oddly enough aren't crossed when hunting the nearby, misnamed Giants Stairs cache.

If you approach this from the north, continue south on the Shore Trail then catch the white and blue blazed Forest View trail back to the parking lot.

If you approach from the south, continue north on the Shore trail and take the blue blazed Long Path back to parking.

I don't mean for this to be a needle in the haystack hide, so I'm hoping the coords are good (had some bounce) and the clue will be helpful, if needed.
