I suggest that you should do this cache with ‘Leven Sea Front – East’. The cache is a 35mm film canister. Please bring your own pen or pencil. The area is very popular with walkers, dog walkers and cyclist. Stealth will be required.
The paths are well defined, being part of the Fife Coastal Path. This section is wheelchair accessible. Alternatively, take off your socks and shoes and have a paddle!
Parking is available at a number of locations in the town but I would suggest parking at the West car park, N56º 11.575 W002º 59.748, near the power station. From the car park to the ‘West’ cache is only 0.4’ while the ‘East’ cache is 1.4’ away. Although it is possible to drive most of the way I hope you will enjoy the opportunity for a lovely coastal walk with great views over Largo Bay and the Forth.
Along with opportunity of an ice cream, keep your eyes open for seabirds and waders. Eider, Long-tailed Duck, Scaup and Scooter are all regular in the area.
