Border Riverside Cache Traditional Cache
Wazat: Cache is in a bad state and the area is overgrown. Was a bad roadside cache and I have decided to remove it. Not going to replace this one.

Along the R543 between Volksrust and Vrede the road crosses the border from the province of Mpumalanga into the Free State. I found this as quite a funny spot because the road in the Free State is tarred for about 300 meters as if to make people think that the roads are better there. The cache is a small tupperware container containing a log book, pen, may card, a brats magnet, a butterfly magnet and 2 tea candles. Cache is on the right hand side of the road up the bank if you are heading for the free state. It is hidden under a large rock with smaller rocks covering it. Place the cache as you found it to try preserve it from fire. Please watch out for muggles.
