A Caver would never give out cave locations... Or would they?
This cache is located in Rock Canyon near a little cave known as Mouse Trap. Other common names for the cave is Roadside, and Peehole. Be careful if you choose to explore this little hole.
To get to the cache find go up the trail just past this tiny cave and scurry up the slab to the cache. If you are not comfortable with heights you might want to skip this one. The cache is located at the top of a cliff. A couple of feet West of the Cache is sheer drop off. But it sure makes for a great view!! Be very careful at the cache site!
About 15' North of the cache the cliffs get really nasty. If you find yourself having to climb anything more than about 45 degree angle your are trying to go up to far.
***If you are where there is steep slab to the East, a sheer drop to the West and Vertical Cliffs to the North you are close.
The cache is placed under a 8" rock in a small depression at the top of the rock outcropping.
Again you should only need to climb slabs to get to the cache site. No need to climb anything vertical.
I spent 15-20 minutes averaging the coordinates. The best I could do was 20' accuracy though. If you have a X model Garmin please take coordinates and post them in your log.
