Heartland Cacher: Greetings I'm Heartland Cacher, one of the volunteer reviewers for new caches submitted to Geocaching.com.

I can't find any recent responses from the Cache Owner about maintaining this cache which makes it appear the Cache Owner is either unwilling or unable to maintain the cache. Cache maintenance includes listing maintenance including updating any changes to the text, updating coordinates, removing needs maintenance attributes and enabling the listing. The cache will be archived and removed from the active cache listings.

Note: 10 July 2018 -- This cache has been destroyed!! The cache will be relocated and available at a later date. Apologies to those folks who searched for it.

Geocaching became a hobby for me last year, and I also introduced my father to the fun of it. Since then, he kept asking me, "When are you going to make your own cache?" My father, Les, celebrates his 80th birthday this spring. This cache is dedicated to him. Here you go, dad, this one's for you!
Les has enjoyed collecting postage stamps for many years. Are there any geo-cachers out there that collect and swap postage stamps?? Bring them to the cache for a trade -- and please DO enjoy the scenery along this wonderful trail.
The cache is a pint sized container. It is almost one mile to the cache from the listed parking coordinates. This cache can also be reached by parking lots further to the north.
