Geocache Description:

No.5 in a series of 5 caches in and around the older parts of the village of Whittle-le-Woods, using old byways and public footpaths, with a bonus cache at the end for those who collect the clues. Hilly in parts, with stone steps, but not more than 2 miles walking to do the whole trail.

The cache is a small pill box container, suitable only for small TBs and items for trade, located not far away from an old canal bridge and a monument made from large millstones.
Examine the millstones and the canal bridge.
For the bonus cache: - 1. Which month in 1803 did the first loaded barge pass through the Whittle Tunnel? The number of this month is "F" for the bonus cache co-ords.
2. In which year was the millstones monument erected? The 4th number of this year is "C" for the bonus cache co-ords.
