WEAR ORANGE FROM SEPTEMBER 15th To DECEMBER 15th! Though hunting is prohibited in this area, there is a tree stand commonly used by hunters in the area of this cache!
This cache is in Darby Brook Conservation area. The Hampstead Conservation web site gives numerous places for accessing this area, but the only fairly obvious one is at the end of Golden Meadow Road: N42 52.150, W071 08.255. There is no marked trail head, but you will see a red MOTORIZED VEHICLES PROHIBITTED sign near the beginning of the trail.
Peace Pond( a now archived cache) was the first cache I ever did. When it went missing, I decided that this beautiful area needed more caches. This cache is about 100 feet or so from the old one, but I hope it is better hidden. Cache is a 7 cup lock ‘n lock.
