The DNR has a very nice access trail that can be used to walk to the landing. Be sure to spend some time watching the Mississippi River as it is a gorgeous view.
Hope you enjoy my first cache. It's placed in one of the prettiest spots east of the city of Bemidji on the mighty Mississippi. You can access it by boat or boot. If you are approaching by boot, park at these coordinates which are 200 yards from the trail: N 47 27.960, W 094 42.131. The hike in is about 1/2 mile. If your approaching by canoe, put in at the power dam for a scenic trip on the river and enjoy the ride. At time of the placement there is a package for the 1st to find, 2nd to find, 3rd to find, and other assorted trinkets along with a travel bug.
