Located near Lake Talihina, Steep terrain. There is a trail/road that can be traveled by 4x4 to get within 200 feet of cache, otherwise plan on a 1/4 mile hike.
Talihina Lake was built circa 1928 and served the community's water needs. The trail/road is next to the old water treatment plant. Lake Carl Albert (immeadiatly downstream) was built in the 1960's and this lake was essentially abandoned and still owned by the City. Cache was placed with permission for City.
