Geocache Description:

Found this side trail online, then on Cerberus' AT map, but no where else. Never heard of this spot from another cacher/hiker either. May possibly be a new spot for all but the most serious of AT cachers. (Waterboy ?) So, just had to check it out..

A short, but almost straight-up hike to the Appalachian Trail. (Just follow the blue markers 'til you reach the AT.)
Turn back from time-to-time and enjoy the views as you ascend.
Special thanks for the volunteers who placed the steps midway. Not an easy task.
Be sure of sturdy footwear and bring water. Remember this IS a wild area, so be watchful of snakes and such. ( We heard a bear displeased with us, going up.)
The cache is on PA SGL #168, so be sure to wear orange during hunting seasons.
FTF / STF prizes - FTFer's choice. Please trade up, even or not at all.
