This is a very easy park-and-grab ammo box which is accessible without going through a gate.
Fly in or drive in!! This cache is located at the Heritage In Flight Museum at the Logan County Airport (AAA for you pilots). It was placed with permission from museum officials. While visiting the sight feel free to walk out to the collection of retired military aircraft. You may even tour the museum with it‘s impressive collection of military artifacts displayed in a building that was used to house German prisoners of war. The building was relocated here from Camp Ellis, an Army training facility near Macomb, Il. Heritage in Flight volunteers do a wonderful job of honoring the men and women who served our nation in past military conflicts. There is no admission fee to tour the museum, however they will gladly accept a donation. Additional information about the museum can be found on their website at heritage-in-flight.org.
