Geocache Description:

Back by popular demand, its time to get dazed again!

I had nothing but positive comments about last years event even with the 3 hours of rain that started and ended at the same time as the event. So I've given it much thought and I'm having another one.

It will be a slightly different location and a different game but I'm sure you will have fun.

********ATTENTION*********
Please note the new coordinates. The location is still at the farm however the coordinates will take you to the end of my laneway.
Seeing as my lane is over 1/2km long figuring out which way to get there may have been tricky so this should solve that problem.

The start time will be at 5:00pm (with registration and chatting from 4:00 to 5:00). This means that you can cache the many caches in the area and use this as a way to end the day.
Following the 2 hour hunt there will be a hotdog roast and corn on the cob plus refreshments. Everything will be supplied. All you need to supply is the attitude to have a good time. The meal time will give us the opportunity to tell stories and maybe get a hint on that elusive cache.

For those whom wish to make this a longer event there will be an after dark portion too. So pack your BFLs!

This event will be very kid friendly and great for the Newbie as well. There will be quite a few prizes available to be won and all it will take is a bit of skill and some luck.

This is a free event however a donation would be appreciated at the event to help cover the costs. Any money that may exceed the costs of the event will go directly towards the next years event.

Watch for new developments in what to bring and what will be happening as the event gets closer. Please include with your 'will attend' a number of people so I can get enough supplies.

Let the good times roll!

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!(June 30)
There will be no formal TB swap table but by all means bring them and swap at the campfire after you eat. It seemed to work well last year.
Things to bring
Skitter juice, lawn chairs, extra water, leash for Fido, flashlight, hopefully a donation and most of all a fun loving attitude.
Geo-pooches are welcome but you must bring a leash. I would ask that you leash them until you get to the bush area. There is a rail trail right at my house which requires a leash and there will be food and fire in the area. You know your dog best but this is NOT a city park the animals here are WILD. We have rabbits, deers, raccoons, turkeys and coyotes that wander through the bush and corn fields and may appear and disappear at any time. If your dog is off the leash will it STOP and COME BACK on command.

Update!!!!!!(July 4) All 96 game pieces have been hidden already and other 'traditional' caches are going out daily.

There will be a series of caches released on the day of the event to keep you occupied for awhile.
