This cache is located at the entrance to a land development called Major Land & Cattle Co. right adjacent to a bridge that was in the news over the past 10 years. The newspaper recently took the article off their website.
The initial contents include: A giant horse fly, Silver Braided Ring, Colorful Double Button Disney Souvenir Pin, Authentic Seashell from a Florida beach, log only bring your own writing quill. These items filled the container up so it doesn't have room for large items. Nice view of the mountains and plains from here. Please replace it as found to avoid muggles. Add a little coverage over it to conceal it well for the next finder.
The bridge goes over a pair of railroad tracks where, according to the news article, 80-120 trains pass daily! I watched for about 15 minutes and three went by during that time alone. Each pulling 30-50 flatbed and cargo carrying boxcars. The article states these are the busiest tracks in the entire United States.
If you are a train lover this is the place to have a picnic! The trains also stop right near the bridge in order to switch tracks. While I was there two of the 1/4 mile long trains were stopped waiting to cross over. They were facing each other on the same track like a chicken challenge! Then a 3rd train came in from the north and passed by them both before one of them switched tracks. All of this in the short 15 minutes that I watched.
