L and B's Burpham Caches # 1 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Dogmattix: I've decided to archive this cache as I'm not happy about replacing it in the same location.
I know some visitors enjoyed the large ammo box, so it's our plan, now we're on our way to Summer again, to relocate it somewhere safer.
Thanks to all the visitors who signed the log.
Keep an eye open for the new one, hopefully coming soonish!

Geocache Description:

A short and easy walk onto some common land between Burpham Lane
and the A3. The footpath onto this land is not marked in any way
but joins Burpham Lane between No's 49 and 53 on the sharp bend.
Our first cache, an ammo box, contains a large number of 'treasure'
items donated by Louise and Barnaby, after whom the cache is named.

Burpham (pronounced Ber-fam) is a leafy village of around 2000
homes on the north-eastern edge of Guildford, Surrey. We have close
links with Merrow village to one side and Jacobs Well village on
another. We see Burpham as a perfect place to live, combining
virtually everything you would expect to find in a modern community
with the traditional aspects you would also hope to find in an old
English village.
