The Kenosha
County Cemetery is also known as the "Pauper's Cemetery". From
1924-1972, if you died and nobody claimed your corpse or if you
couldn't be identified, this is where you would have ended up. Many
of the simple gravestones here simply read "Unknown man" or
"Unknown infant" or simple "Unknown". Probably one of the creepiest
cemeteries I've ever seen.
The cache is
not located inside the cemetery. While not off-limits, I would
recommend against going inside, as the ground is settling in
spots.
