Geocache Description:

Estuary Walk. Sorry about the wire. It wasn't there when I set the cache.

Between Powderham Church and the Turf Hotel (visit link) It is worth walking on to the pub at the end of the Exeter Ship Canal, a unique pub that you cannot drive to. Parking (for the pub)is at Lion's Holt near Exminster or at the Church (for the cache). Gorgeous views across the estuary and up to Haldon. Keep an eye out for the birds and the trains (esp. when crossing the tracks;-). Also of note is the Marines Barracks across the Exe and the Folly (sadly no longer approachable)presumably belonging to Powderham Castle
