Waterville River Walk Traditional Cache
fenwayfranks: Cache has gone missing for the second time this month. The area was well-trounced and I found a couple of the trinkets on the ground. I won't replace WRW in this area... we'll find a new spot soon.

We've updated this cache due to some work done behind the trail. Still a great cache for beginners/hunters with small children. In Waterville, near the Brody Playground on North Street. Parking is readily available in the playground lot, on North Street, or at the boat ramp lot on the other end of the soccer fields. The area can be very busy during weekends/soccer season - Stealth required.
Trail is newly paved - great for walking, blading, biking, etc. The cache is located a short way from the paved trail, far enough from the water to be safe for little ones. No poison ivy to date (let me know if that changes). Keep eyes out for yellow finches, bull frogs, and turtles.
This cache provides a perfect opportunity to begin your practice (if you haven't already) of "Cache In, Trash Out". We cleaned out some empty soda bottles and fast food bags (there was a few items I didn't want to touch without rubber gloves.
Cache is a regular-sized, plastic container wrapped in brown duct tape. Please hide as well as you found it. Thanks & Happy Hunting.
