Geocache Description:

The Kingfisher Way
A 21mile/ 34km walk following the course of the River Ivel from its source at Ivel Springs in Baldock, through the towns and villages of the Ivel valley, to the River Great Ouse at Tempsford.

This cache is part of a series of caches on a beautiful circular walk around the Twin Bridges on the A1 side of Blunham. As the footpath runs alongside the river you will need to be extra careful if accompanied by small children. This part of The Kingfisher Way is ideal for a lovely family walk because the footpaths are tended to regularly and are kept clear of nettles. Along your walk you should see cows, horses, sheep, swans, different breeds of ducks, geese and if you are very lucky Kingfishers. Please log what you see and take some photos if you can.

You are looking for a 35mm film cannister that has been strategically hidden. It is important that you remain in stealth and that you put this cache back exactly how you found it. The cache is called 'Beautiful Island' because you will notice that there is an island inbetween the twin bridges. Unfortunately for us it is private property so don't be tempted to wander onto it :o(
Happy caching!
