Start at the trailhead where the horseback rides take place on the east side Blue Diamond highway. (Right by the Nevada Geocaching Adopt-A-Highway sign!) Cache is about a 1.25 mile hike up into the canyon.
Lots of varied terrain with some rock scrambling. The last leg of the hike is very steep and can be slippery. I wasn't sure what to rate this one, terrain-wise. I took the Geocaching "quiz" and it said 4.25 for terrain...I personally would say a little less than 4 so I split the difference and gave it a 4. Total elevation gain is a little over 500 ft.
Normal everyday ammocan with a few "yardsale" type items. Have fun.
