A new area to me - can't believe I've never explored The Forest
of Bowland before, and until recently I didn't even own a copy of
OL41!
Anyway, on to the cache. As the title says, it's a triangle: the
above co-ords take you to the first micro, which contains the
co-ords for the second micro, which in turn contains a distance. It
ought to be obvious what to do with this figure if you read the
Hint...
Please restrict your use of gadgetry to at most two GPSs
(although I would never know if you pre-loaded your mobile with an
excel template...); not forgeting your map and compass, of
course!
Both micros should be approached from the stream: neither is
in a precarious spot, although you will need to take care not
to get wet feet at one, whilst the other is a little higher.
UPDATE FOLLOWING LOG DATED
24/3/08: The first micro is approximately 3 feet above
the level of the stream, you do not need to climb any part of the
rock face; the second micro is approximately 10 feet above the
level of the stream, up a steepish grassy bank at the base of the
rock face.
Please Note: there is no mobile
phone coverage in this remote area. If you are caching alone (and
even if you are not) you should ensure somebody knows your
approximate route and estimated time of return.
The cache initially contains this FtF Coin - claimed by Langden.
