Just off Blackwater Overlook trail. Cache is located upstream under a large, low rock overhang in ammo cannister. Terrain has small mounds, rocks, roots and pine needles but is relatively level.
At approimately N39 06.804, W079 28.847 there is a blaze to the right before the overlook itself. Turn right here. A rock formation is on the left. Break to the left from the trail approximately 25 yards in. Stay along the rock formation for about another 50 yards. Listen for the Blackwater River. Look for a long, low rock outcropping. Cache is underneath. Cache is white ammo cannister painted with symbols of various holidays. Cache was created and placed by Ashley, age 6. Cache contents include cards, keychain, pen and others. Please also use enclosed logbook.
