This is cache was released for the GREAT GRAFTON GEOCACHE event, a town-wide event on Saturday, June 2, 2007 to coincide with National Trails Day. We invite expert and amateur geocachers to discover through Geocaching the fabulous trail system in this beautiful Blackstone Valley town. The event is being coordinated by volunteers with the cooperation of the Town of Grafton, The Grafton Land Trust, Tufts University, Grafton Schools, and Brigham Hill Community Barn.

The Grafton Land Trust, Inc. is a private nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and maintaining open space in Grafton, Mass. Although GLT is not part of town government, our lands are open for public passive recreation, and membership is open to all individuals who share our goals.
The George Knowlton Preserve is a property of the Grafton Land Trust, Inc. (www.graftonland.org), a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of open space in the town of Grafton. The Preserve consists of approximately 58 acres of mixed wooded land extending from the end of Potter Hill Road to the Millbury town line, and connecting with land of the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife Deering Wildlife Management Area
