Portishead Pleaser Traditional Geocache
patrick.gill: Cache is gone, and having moved this is not going to be a cache I can maintain. I'd rather archive it than transfer it. A new cache can be set in its place.

Pleasurable stroll along the estuary, suitable for dog walking.
Suggested parking is at N 51 29.183, W 002 46.868. This is a public parking lot. The Windmill Inn beside it provides nice food. Dogs are allowed on the top floor and drinking water is provided (and a treat if they're lucky!).
From the parking lot, head down to the path along the estuary bank. It is a fairly comfortable walk but some narrow sections make it unsuitable for night-time caching. You will find benches along the way if a short break is required. The walk takes you along the banks of the estuary and past a small lighthouse almost all the way to Redcliff Bay. There's some great views across to Wales.
This is a popular route for dog-walkers and joggers so please be careful when retrieving the cache.
The cache is a smallish tupperware container suitable for trading small items, coins and travel bugs. The original contents of the cache are:
- Logbook and pencil
- Compass
- Whopee cushion
- Whistle
