A gentle downgrade into the Quail Oasis area. About four miles round trip. Parking at Horsethief Canyon staging area. Follow the paved lane south to find the hiking-trail gate near the fire station.
Here's a Geocache that was improvised on the spot from a discarded water bottle found along the hiking trail and a logsheet made from a MapSource map that was no longer needed.
To sweeten the deal for some lucky FTF fanatic there's also a five-dollar bill and a pocket full of change in the container.
The container is nestled under a small cluster of knee-high Yucca.
